Howdy! My name is Hunter Gregory. I am currently a 17 year old Junior at Magnolia West High School. I have been showing since I was 10 years old. I show lambs all over Texas. I show Southdowns mostly, but I do show Medium Wools as well. I have shown at every Texas major for the past 5 years. I LOVE IT! Livestock is my passion! My future goal (plan actually) is to go to Texas A&M and get my degree in Animal Science focusing on Ruminant Nutrition. I plan on pursuing my Masters and Doctorate Degrees as well. I want to become a Ruminant Nutritionist. As you know with the cancelling of Rodeo Austin and Montgomery County it has left me with a heartbreak of not finishing my 2020 Junior Show Season. I was also selected to calf scramble at MOCO and now that has also hurt my chances for next year. I planned on using that money to help get my animals for my Senior Show Season. I have big goals for my Senior year and now those goals are in jeopardy. Thank you for the opportunity to showcase my MOCO County lamb. His name is Czar. He has only been out to a couple of shows, but did phenominal at both shows. One show was Ring A and Ring B-won both his classes. He won all three classes he was in and then won Reserve Grand Champion Lamb as well. He is a very special lamb and I was so excited to show him at the end of March. Now, I will never know what would have happened.....Again, I appreciate this opportunity to showcase him. It is just sad because I still have 7 lambs and 2 goats left in my barn that I didn't get to show. One of the goats is for MOCO as well. I am turning my heartbreak into goals for next year. Thank you for your support.
