My name is Emma Lozada, and I am a member of the Princeton FFA. I am 17 years old and a junior in high school, and I show pigs, wrestle, and play softball. I am also the vice president of our FFA chapter, an academic all-district wrestler and an All-American wrestler. My Stepdad is my Ag teacher, and I take showing pigs very serious. I have won many awards throughout my show career, and this year alone my highlight was winning showmanship at the 2020 San Angelo Barrow Show. I spend countless hours at the barn with my family. My parents work very hard to get me the best hogs there are, and I work very hard to accomplish the goals I set each year. I have never had that killer great barrow to take to Houston, and this year was the year I did. I was so excited the walk this hog on those green shavings, and show how great of a hog he is to everyone looking on. My dream got cut short due to this virus going around. I am only hoping to generate some funds to help my parents with funding my projects for next year. I will be a senior next year, and I am hoping to have the opportunity to rise to the top.
