Hi! My name is Tabitha Fadenrecht and this is my 4th year in 4H and I was so excited that my 2nd pen of Market Rabbits got Reserve Champion! This is my FIRST year in Market Rabbits and I really love rabbits. I even did my Veterinary Science 4H projects on how you can tell your rabbits are happy or sad. I spent hours by their pens to make sure that I really understood how they communicate. My buck is kind of sassy... but he and I came to an understanding and now he tolerates me when I hang out by him. My Does are pretty sweet and excellent moms. I am proud of them!

When it got really hot I would bring them into my house so they could cool down and eat a lot of food (they don't eat really well when it's hot and they needed to gain weight!)  My mom wasn't too excited to have rabbits in the house because they kind of stink. Of course, I was used to it... but everyone else was complaining a lot about the smell.

Any money that is raised will go back into my Market Rabbit project for next year!
