Hi my name is Kaitlin Williams. This is my first year to show an animal. His name is Ace and he is a cross barrow. He weighs 245 lbs and still growing! When I first began this adventure I thought that I was just going to be taking care of an animal and showing it. I have learned that there is a lot more to it than that. I have put in countless of hours training him, exercising him, loving him and learning all I can about his breed. He has become an important part of my life. We have grown together. We have both put in a lot of hard work and dedication. A month or so ago I received a heartbreaking call that his pen had caught fire in the barn. God was watching over him and he only had a few minor burns and singed hair. We got past that hurdle and then we got the bad news that our local show was canceled. I would appreciate any assistance I can get to be able to recoup some of my costs and be able to get another show animal for next year.
