My name is JT Trinidad, I am a senior in the Agriscience Magnet Program at James Madison High School, I am an active 4th year FFA member and a 2nd year show cattle raiser. I bought my current livestock project, Red, in February 2021 and have had him ever since, feeding and caring for him twice a day 7 days a week. Red has helped expand my knowledge in the shown cattle world and taught me more than I could've ever imagined. Red is my last livestock project which is bittersweet but one that I will treasure throughout a lifetime. We plan on attending the San Antonio Livestock Expo and potentially the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Throughout the year we have attended MANY summer and fall prospect shows which we have been fairly successful typically placing 1st or 2nd in class, reserve breed champion and most recently, reserve grand champion at the NE Ag Fair. Outside of the cattle barn I am devoted to my job in veterinary medicine that I hope to carry on through a lifetime. After high school my intention is to attend a 4-year university and study Pre-Vet, which I will use to go on to achieve my goal of becoming a veterinarian.
