Howdy! My name is Chloe Dale and this is my 2nd year raising a lamb. This year's project has taught me so much about how to manage my time. My lamb, Romeo, whose breed is a Dorper, is hard headed and smaller than many other breeds. Our breed group is very competitive but through this show season we have grown and became successful. At our first show, The Presort I won 2nd place. The second and third shows, the Fall Challenge and Cougar Classic I made 3rd in both rings. At Ag Fair I made Breed Champion, 3rd overall in Market, as well as overall Grand Champion Showman. With that opportunity I got to participate in the Showmanship Shootout, with that I had to learn and show 3 other species, Goats, Pigs and Steers. I went up against up 5 other Showmen and came out 2nd! Romeo has been by far my best lamb, and best friend. With my newfound responsibilities, such as an internship at a vet clinic and raising guide dogs, hopefully with the money we have earned at our shows and by this premium auction I will be able to pursue my passion for animals and further my education in animal science.
