My name is Rose, I am 11 years old, this is my 1st year showing Californian rabbits, and I am also Showing my 2nd Market Swine named Ribs. Raising these rabbits taught me to make sure they always have water and to watch their food intake. The Food they eat really makes a difference in their growth and I weighed each one every Saturday to track their progress. I learned that rabbits have 28 teeth, and you can tell their mood by the position of their ears. Also, if Californian kits (newborn bunnies) get too cold, their fur actually comes in as grey or silver, also known as "Frosted" which they grow out of as they get older. My hope for this show is to gain experience and sale my rabbits so I can continue showing rabbits next year.
