"Gus" is a 1160 pound Red Cross steer that was born to compete at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  Gus has been in my possesion for just over 12 months where he has been on a custom feed program and a daily routine of baths, meals and nights out in the pasture.  A typical day with Gus starts at 5:15 in the morning with a cool rinse of and combing along with an early breakfast under the fans before school.  Gus is as gentle as you could ask of a steer and has been a real joy to raise and feed.  Gus in my opinion would have been a top 10 steer in the Red Cross divison with just the right amount of fat and finish.  I would appreciate any and all bids to help recoop some my investment so I can start fresh and buy another steer for next year and try to make my dreams come true of winning a Division at a Texas Major Steer Show!!
