Hi, my name is Trace. This is my third year in 4H, and my second year raising purebred hogs. Mario is a purebred Duroc barrow hog. His name was inspired by the 1980's hit video game, Super Mario Brothers! Luigi was born on February 6, 2022, on the eastern shore of Maryland, but has lived at our 4H barn since April. He has been fed a diet of show hog feed and supplements as needed and has been walked several times a week for exercise. He has not had any unnecessary medications or growth hormones. He has been raised on feed, clean water, and plenty of love (and maybe a few bags of marshmallows!) Level up your dinner game with this quality pork!
