My name is Hayden and this is my first year of FFA at Southern High School.  I became interested in the Livestock Project from hearing some of my other classmates talking about their experiences in the program.

I chose to do market lambs. I have two (2) and their names are Goose and Maverick (yes like in the movie Top Gun).

My second lamb, Goose, is a neutered male. He is very shy, not attention seeking, and he enjoys spending time with his brother. He is muscular and very good at running hills. He enjoys just laying in the grass to graze as well as sitting by the fan all day when it is hot out. 

I feed Goose a Non- GMO grain and he gets hay that has clover in it. He is a very slow eater when it comes to grain but likes to also eat a lot of hay after a big meal.
