I am a Kyle Forsyth and I am a member of James Madison's High School FFA. I am currently raising a steer, Dr. Sir Loin, during my senior year. I got him from breeder in Hondo, Texas.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to raise a steer, which has paid off competing in steer shows. I have placed 1st place at the Rock Island 4-H Buckle Blowout, 3rd place at the Lone Star Classic, 6th place at the Medina County Junior Livestock Prospect Show, 6th place at the Comal County Fair, and 7th Place at Bexar County Junior Livestock Show.
Raising a livestock animal is preparing me for a future in an agriculture career. I am attending Palo Alto Community College to begin my agriculture studies. I plan to attend Texas A&M University in the future. My commitment and dedication to raising my steer has taught me many necessary skills to be successful in life.
