Hi, my name is Abigail Baca and this is my fourth year in 4H and fourth year raising market ducks. My favorite market duck is the muscovy. They have the red skin on their heads instead of the typical white head of the pekin. They also get bigger than the pekin. This year my muscovy received grand champion market duck weighing in at 11lb. Muscovy are very powerful ducks with their wings and their very long nails. They wag their tails too. Waterfowl are my favorite and I will raise them again next year. All funds raised from the auction go towards my future projects.
