I am a member of the Kinder Farm Park 4H Livestock Club in Anne Arundel County and I am raising a market turkey this year for the fourth year in a row. I am 13 and this is my fourth year in 4H - I really enjoy it! I like 4H because I get to spend time with animals. I am learning about how to care for animals and about the farming business. I am the club turkey chair as a way to share what I have learned with younger club members. My turkey is an Orlopp Mammoth Bronze turkey born on April 4th, 2023 and it eats Nutrena 21% protein turkey feed (purchased from The Mill in Bel Air). Many thanks to Ms. Steele and Annapolis Pain Management for buying my market sheep last year, and to Mr. Shires of the Edgewater Giant Food for buying my turkey last year!
