HOWDY! My name is Hannah (12th grade) McMullan, daughter of Jason and Janell McMullan. I am a member of the James Madison FFA Chapter and I am showing our Market livestock projects. I will be showing my Hampshire pig named Glo and cross pig named Kodak. I have been working with my projects everyday since I got them. I get up every morning and feed them come rain or shine or even in the bitter cold and I feed and work them every night. My parents joke I take better care of them than I do myself. These animals may look like a pork chop to some but to me they mean much more. They are teaching me life lessons such as responsibility and work ethic. I have learned that you only get out of something the effort that you put into something. Things haven't been super easy.  Kodak has been the best pig to raise , he is super sweet and loves to please but has a spicy side. I have been fortunate enough to attend practice shows this  fall. I also stay very busy with our involvement with the National High School BBQ Association, I am competing with the High School BBQ team. I cook the half chicken and National HS BBQ Winners and current reigning State Champions. My school will be putting on the 4th Annual North East Ag Fair, which will be sponsored by our Booster club which is a 501.3.C I would like to invite you to the North East Ag Fair to watch me show my projects.
