HOWDY! My name is Kendall (7th grade) McMullan, daughter of Jason and Janell McMullan. I am a member of the James Madison FFA Chapter and I am  showing my Market livestock projects. I will be showing my brahman steer named Outlaw and a Simmental steer named Dutton. I have been working with my projects everyday since we got them. I get up every morning and feed them come rain or shine or even in the bitter cold and I feed and work them every night. My parents joke I take better care of them than I do myself. These animals may look like a hamburger to some but to me they mean much more. They are teaching me life lessons such as responsibility and work ethic. I have learned that you only get out of something the effort that you put into something. Things haven't been super easy. Outlaw started out being very hard to teach to walk, he still has days where he doesn't act right. I have been fortunate enough to attend practice shows this summer and fall. I also stay very busy with our involvement with the National High School BBQ Association, I compete with our High School BBQ team. I cook pork ribs and I am a National HS BBQ Winner. My school will be putting on the 4th Annual North East Ag Fair, which will be sponsored by our Booster club which is a 501.3c. I would like to invite you to the North East Ag Fair to watch me show my projects. Wishing you a healthy and wonderful New Year !
