Howdy! My name is Georgia Schroeder and I’m a junior here at James Madison High School. It’s my third year in the AMP program here and my third year in the FFA as a whole.

I highly value my time here and have participated in many CDE and LDE teams. Last year I won state with our amazing entomology team and placed at entomology nationals! I aspire to become a veterinarian through the Texas A&M veterinary school. which may seem contradictory to my teams of choice, but I believe that it is important to learn as much as possible from as many fields as possible. 

This is my second year raising goats at a varsity level here at James Madison. This year I have two does (Frog and Pyrite) and one wether (Atlas). They’ve performed extremely well at prospect shows this year, with Atlas getting Reserve Champion at his very first show! The high placing continued at Bexar County a few weeks ago with Atlas winning Reserve Division Champion, Pyrite placing 2nd, and Frog placing 5th. Most recently at this show, Frog won Grand Champion of her division, Atlas placed second, and Pyrite placing 5th.

I love raising goats and my experience has taught me patience, determination, commitment,  and how to get back up when I’ve been knocked down. Any money I make this year will go towards my goats next year, please help me make my senior year the best ever!
