My name is Brie Balderas and Im a senior at James Madison Agriscience Magnet Program. In the past 4 years I've been very active active in FFA, competing in various Leadership Development Events and Career Development Events, as well as showing livestock. Some teams I've competed in are chapter conducting, public relations, horse judging, creed speaking, etc. I've also found a passion for welding! I originally wanted to learn how to weld so I could fix things at ranches I plan to work at, as well as my own.  I fell in love with fabrication and got various different welding certifications!  This year I have a commercial doe and market wether. I went to various different shows and got division and reserve division champion at every show leading up Bexar County! At Bexar county I placed 3rd with my doe and 4th with my wether! Countless hours in the barn have helped me reach where I'm at today!  I plan on going to A&M and majoring in Equine Science and minoring in AG Business. The experiences I've had in FFA will help aid me in my future goals, outside of highschool.
