Hello, my name is Kerby Slate and I am a Soph at Arlington Heights HS. My goal is to pursue an agricultural degree in college. I am active in several FFA programs including veterinarian tech certification, Ag Mech/Welding and several CDE/LDE programs. This is my first time to win a Grand Champion at TCJLS. Also, I raised and showed a Cross Swine.In addition, I am a cheerleader and play volleyball and softball. 

The broilers were a 6 week project starting with one day old chicks that were raised to full market maturity. Both the Pullets and Cockerels won first place in show. My cockerel pen was chosen as the overall grand champions. It was a great honor to win all 3 categories.
