Hi! I am Carter Wright, I am a proud member of Spurger FFA where I serve as an officer for my chapter, and I have shown poultry since seventh grade. Raising and showing poultry has been a big part of my life. This project has taught me many valuable life lessons that help build my leadership skills. To me, responsibility is the most important attribute of raising poultry because being responsible for the care and growth of my birds has ultimately led to success in past shows. Though this year was tough, battling both hard freezes and high Texas temperatures, my birds and I have persevered through it all together in hopes of another successful show.
