The highs and lows of livestock! I bred five does for county fair. Some of the resulting litters were birthed on wire in the cold and died. One was a singleton that got cold and died. One litter the mother failed to produce enough milk. Yet one survived, with 4 kits, a low number. From that near disaster a winner emerged!
