Hello, my name is Colton Scofield. I am a junior at Southern High School, and this is my 5th year raising animals. I am a member of both Harwood 4-H and Southern FFA. I am raising two market swine, one market goat, and my breeding goat project this year. My projects are fed all natural feeds from the Mill of Bel Air. My market swine are fed a blend of 18 percent and 16 percent Sunglow, along with my goats, which are fed 16 percent blue seal feed. I plan to put all the proceeds from my projects into a savings account to help further build and work with my future and current six Supervised Agriculture Experiences (SAE). I plan to start three additional Supervised Agriculture Experiences over the next few months.
Additionally, I plan on raising a market steer, a wildflower free-roaming area for goats, and a pumpkin patch at the southern FFA greenhouse. I have spent countless hours working with my projects to ensure they are healthy and live high-quality lives. I am very grateful for all your support and for coming out tonight to support our auction.
