Hello, my name is Owen Collinson and I am 12years old! This is my first year raising Market Turkeys. I really enjoy these goofy birds. I have three of them in our flock and they love eating fruit, they will even eat it out of your hand.

A fun fact about me is every year I pick a theme for my 4H projects based on a movie or show that I enjoy. This year I picked Duck Dynasty because I love duck hunting.

This turkey is named Uncle Si. Uncle Si enjoys spending his day sunbathing with his best friend that is a guinea hen. We got the turkey and the guinea a few weeks apart and they instantly became friends. My mom is worried about the Guinea when we take Uncle Si to the auction.  My turkey has been healthy all year and has been gaining a healthy amount of weight, probably because of all the fruits and veggies he eats from my garden. Thank you for your interest in my Turkey and I hope you enjoy it this Thanksgiving with your family!
