Hello, my name is Stephanie Garza. I am a junior at James Madison High School, NEISD. I have raised lambs at Madison HS for the past three years. This year, I have been raising a medium wool named  “Gruff”. I love working with him daily and watching him grow into a strong healthy lamb.

My daily routine includes feeding him in the morning and evening. His current diet consists of a full feed mixture with supplements to enhance his body and condition: High Noon Extreme, Top Shelf, and Powerful. Every day I work him out either on the treadmill, or outside in the run. I spend 4 hours per day with my animal. My goal is to have him ready for the San Antonio Rodeo.

My lamb "Gruff" has gotten Grand Overall Market Lamb at the Stay Humble Hustle Hard Show Series. He also placed 1st in his class at Bexar County Junior Livestock Show.

With my earnings I would like to continue raising and showing more lambs in the future. I really enjoy competing and being a part of the FFA program; it has been a great learning experience.
