I’m a senior and this is my first year raising a goat. I’ve learned so much through this experience and my only regret is that I didn’t join sooner. Luckily, I was permitted to extend my time and continue participating in the varsity program. 

In just a few short months as a student exhibitor I’ve gained incredible life experience, made lasting memories and developed skills that will benefit me in the long-term. 

Constantly working with  my goat, Stormfly, has sparked a deep interest in agricultural science. I’m interested in continuing to explore this path and volunteer regularly at my local Animal Defense League. 

While my exact path hasn’t been determined, I know I will serve my community with pride thanks to the skills learned and mentorship provided my instructors and classmates.
