Description

Milo is my senior year and final high school project. I purchased him from Utopia Ranch located in Beaumont, Texas. Just like every prior steer, I began working with him in preparation for the upcoming months of jackpots and local shows. Milo has been such a fun and rewarding steer to raise. To this present day, Milo consumes around 20 pounds of grain a day along with free choice hay. He loves his turnout pen where he can graze and enjoy being outside. Each steer I've had definitely had their own personality and quirks, but they have all taught me the same values. I am very thankful for the continuous support system I've had thus far. Over the past 4 years, showing cattle has taught me so much within the agriculture industry. Being involved in FFA and 4H has given me many opportunities for my future. In the fall, I will be attending McNeese State University to pursue a degree in agribusiness. I am planning to further my education in law school with hopes in becoming a lawyer for the agriculture industry. Thank you to everyone that has helped me along the way during this journey. While I am sad that this is my final year to show, I am more than excited to start this new chapter in my life. A big thank you to YMBL and everyone involved in making this possible for kids like myself.

Best regards,

Lillian Barclay.
