Hi! My name is Lylian Redwine. I am 12 years old and live in Hamshire, TX. I attend 6th grade at Hamshire-Fannett Middle School. I am a member of Hamshire-Fannett Jr FFA.
In my spare time, I love to read and draw. Me and my 4 siblings spend a lot of time outside playing. I am very active with my church youth group, Discover Church. I help with service projects each month within our community. I am a straight A student in Honor classes, and I greatly enjoy school. My favorite subject is Teen Leadership.
I absolutely adore chickens. This is why I chose to raise broiler chickens for the 2nd time. Last year I did not make the sale, but with a lot of hard work I made the sale this year. My favorite part of raising the chickens is being able to see how much they grow and how they react to each other and to me throughout the project. I gained a lot of valuable knowledge this year that I will be able to implement next year.
The money that I raise from my project will be put towards my future projects and my college fund. Thank you for supporting me, my future projects, and our FFA community.
