My name is Jaceen Zion.  My sixth year of 4-H has been very fun. My projects this year are market lamb and food and nutrition.  I will be a freshman next year at Elbert High School.  I am nervous, but looking forward to all the new experiences high school can bring.  I am especially excited to join Elbert FFA in the fall.  This is a great program, like 4-H, that allows me to celebrate my agricultural roots and give back to my community. I really enjoyed my lamb this summer.  Tidy Whitey was a great growing lamb.  His big frame filled in quickly, and he gained muscle mass faster than any other lamb I’ve had.  His temperament was the best.  It only took 2 days to have him halter-broke completely.  Within one night of working on bracing, he had it down.  I enjoyed evening walks and show ring practices.  The best part of all of it is the special time our family spends together working our lambs together.
