Hi!  My name is Hilton Smith. I am 9 years old, and this is my second year in 4-H.  My projects include market and breeding hogs, and breeding cattle. I have shown livestock since I was two years old and it is something that I really like to do.  I have had the opportunity to exhibit livestock from Houston, TX to Kansas City, MO and lots of places in between including the Elbert County Fair, Colorado State Fair, and the National Western Stock Show.   This year I have six pigs named Braun (GO NUGGETS!), Caitliln (Clark), Cortland (Sutton)…I’m a sports fan, okay…Lila, Rosie and Chip. I also have a breeding heifer who I call Mafia Millie and a cow calf pair.  The mother to my pair was my favorite show heifer from last year, Lipstick & Whiskey.  When she had her heifer calf this year, it only made sense to name her Lip Gloss & Soda Pop…you know- the kid version of her mom’s name! While not working with my livestock, I enjoy playing basketball, flag football, wrestling & drawing.  Thank you very much for your support of me and my peers through the Elbert County Fair Junior Market Sale.
