Dear 4-H Supporter,

Hi!  My name is Ashlyn Hegwood. I am 13 years old and going into ninth grade at Elizabeth High School. Outside of 4-H I play basketball, ride horses and bake.

This is my third year in 4-H and my third year raising market goats, first year with market turkeys and show birds, and second year showing dairy Does. I purchased my Boer, named Junior, in January as well as my turkey. I own my own show birds; one is a French Black Copper Maran and the other is a Ameraucana. I will be showing Samhouri Sunrise Farm dairy goats.

I have learned many lessons in 4-H.  It has taught me discipline, patience and responsibility.  I have also learned how to keep my animals healthy as well as staying on a responsible budget.  I have really liked being in 4-H this year and am excited to be a part of it next year.

 I am inviting you to come support my market sale, August 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Horse Pavilion where I will either be selling my market Boer goat or market Turkey. If you are unable to contribute to the sale, there is an add-on option before August 2nd.
