Hi! My name is Evelyn, and I’m 9 years old. This is my second year in 4-H and also my second time raising a market turkey. I’m in the Running Creek 4-H Club, and I really like being part of it!

I’ve worked hard to take good care of my turkey. I feed it every day, give it fresh water, clean the pen, and make sure it stays healthy and happy. It’s a lot of work, but I’ve learned so much and had fun too! My turkey is really big now, and I can’t wait to show it at the fair.

4-H has taught me responsibility, how to be a good animal owner, and how to keep track of my project. I’m proud of how far I’ve come since last year.

When you buy a turkey from the fair, you’re helping kids like me keep learning and growing. The money I earn will help me with future 4-H projects and saving for important things.
