My name is Kellan and this is my third year in 4H. This is handsome steer is named Rip. He was born on our neighbors ranch in Elizabeth, Colorado. I brought him home to our ranch when he was a few months old and have been caring for him ever since. He doesn’t like to go anywhere without his buddy Jimmy so working on showmanship with him has been a bit of a challenge but he has come a long way. He loves head scratches and treats and as you can probably see by his weight - never misses a meal. I am excited to show him at the Elbert County Fair and hopefully he does well enough that I can continue on with 4H next year. Thanks for all the support
