Hi my name is Brody Burnside. I am 14 years old. I am going to be a Freshman at Calhan High school. This is my 5 th year in 4-H. I am in the Show Squad 4-H group. I am in the Breeding goat, Breeding Swine, and Market Swine projects . I raised 2 market hogs and 1 breeding gilt. My pigs names are KC, Red Bull and Pocahontas. In the breeding goats and pigs I placed very well. I showed on Tuesday with my Market Hogs and placed 1 st in each class. Then I received Grand Champion  in the Heavy Weight division. That allowed me to go to the For the Final Drive. In the final drive my Pig KC was selected for the GRAND CHAMPION MARKET PIG.
I was very excited and thankful.
I also won Grand Champion Sr showmanship. To say the least my goals were definitely met.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me and cheered me on.
