Hi, I am Cade Tervort, a member of Gold Creek 4-H Club.  I am excited to exhibit my market rabbits.  This year I will have 2 pens of 3 and 3 single fryers in the competition. This is my Reserve Grand Champion New Zealand Single Fryer.

I keep a medium sized rabbitry with mostly commercial breeds.  I raise Californians and New Zealand Whites, Blues, Blacks and Broken Blacks. I raise the kits from the time they are born and finish them out for the county fair.  A true farm to table experience.

Our market sale is terminal.  The rabbits are donated to a non profit raptor program or will be taken to the locker to be processed and donated to a local food bank.

For those that don't make the county fair selection, I butcher some for my families freezer, hold some back to be entered in my breeding program and sell some to those looking to expand their rabbitries.

In addition to exhibiting rabbits, I compete in compound unlimited archery and trap, skeet and sporting clays for shotgun.

The market checks I receive from your support are invested back into my 4-H projects by allowing me to upgrade my archery equipment or shotguns or to bring in new lines of rabbits into my rabbitry.

Thank you for supporting me in my market project!

Cade
