Hi, there! My name is Addisyn from the Harwood 4H club in Southern Anne Arundel County. I am currently an 8th grade student in the STEM program at Central Middle School, balancing homework, sports, and livestock!
This year at the 2025 Fair, I can’t wait for you to meet my January-born ewe lamb: Blue Moon or Blu for short. She’s a striking, dark-colored lamb I purchased from Wagner Show Stock in Lovettsville, VA, and she definitely has a big attitude, I mean personality.
Since April, I’ve basically been Blu’s personal trainer, chef, and hairstylist. We’ve logged a ton of hours getting ready for the show ring. She’s turned into a powerhouse—a strong, sturdy ewe with a mischievous streak (watch your fingers, she bites!). But all those hours paid off: at our very first show in June, Blu snagged Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb! I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come together. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
If you’ll be at the fair, I hope you’ll come meet Blue Moon. Blu will be up for auction and would make a great addition to any breeding program. If you’re not looking for more attitude in your barn, she’s also available as a market lamb. She's been raised on Kalmbach's Formula of Champion show lamb feed, specially formulated to provide high quality nutrition.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Blu and for considering your support of local 4H youth. Your encouragement helps us grow as leaders and livestock exhibitors.
