I am 16 years old and this is my first year in FFA. I've been raising and showing pigs for eight years now and will countinue through my remainder of high school. I raised a hampshire this year and have made weight for fair. We bought the pig in January and have been consistently taking good care of it and walking it quite often. Raising pigs has always been super fun to me because a lot of my friends do it and my dad helps me out a lot because he's come from the same back ground. My dad has been the best mentor I could ask for when raising these pigs and he's done a great job helping me.
