Hi, I am Michael Cowan.  I'm 18 years old this is my senior year of high school I've been raising pigs for 10 years now and it's gone by in a blur. My pig is a hampshire and weighs about 250 pounds. I walked my pig once a week and fed twice a day, morning and night. My dad was a very big help.  He bought all the feed and my mom would help with the video while I was walking my pig. I've had a lot of fun raising my project this really taught me on how be responsible for another life.  This is my last year raising a pig. I've had a lot of fun and loved every moment of it especially agfest.  Being at agfest with my friends and showing my pig was the best part of raising a pig.  I am disappointed that I wasn't able to be at the fairgrounds my last year of high school.
