Howdy! My name is Chloe Dale and this is my final year raising livestock! I thought as my final year I should go big, so I have a Steer. I am finally a senior and have decided to attend Texas Tech majoring in Pre-Vet. I am very excited to graduate with the honors Manga cum lade as well as my many accomplishments in AMP. During this past year I have earned my CVA, and currently working at an exotics vet clinic which is a dream come true. Our Vet Science team placed 9th at the state FFA competition and Ag Advocacy placed 2nd at District and 5th at Area. Not to mention all of my accomplishments throughout my 4 years, Placing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with my lamb last year, Earning my Lonestar, Chapter and Greenhand FFA Degree, The sheep production experienced award, and the list goes on. This year has taught me so much about how to manage my time and many responsibilities. My steer, Styles, is a Black Angus/Black Cross. Through this show season we have grown and became successful. At our first show, we managed to be the reserve British Steer. Unfortunately I had to miss my 2nd show because of appendicitis. I made it to our 3rd show 2 weeks post-op, after being cleared by the doctor and placed 4th. At the Ag Fair I placed British Breed Champion and Reserve Overall Champion. With my many responsibilities, such as an Job at a vet clinic, As well as raising my 3rd and final guide dog puppy, Nova, hopefully with the money we have earned at our shows and by this premium auction I will be able to go to college and pursue my passion for animals and further my education in animal science. I appreciate all of the support my donors have given me and other livestock showmen to be the new face of agriculture. Thank you again.
